JOHN L. WOODRUFF, III & MONIQUE IVAN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

MARK V. HOLMES JUDGE

This case was on the Court's October 25, 2021 trial calendar for San Francisco, California. It's mostly about substantiating just a handful of categories of expenses for a real-estate business. All agreed to try to conclude informal discovery and see if the parties could then reach a settlement. Due to some recent health issues, petitioner asked for additional time to send respondent's lawyer all the records that they have that fit the description of what the IRS is looking for. Petitioner has already produced quite a bit of documentation, and respondent expects the rest by August 16, 2022. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before October 17, 2022 respondent shall file a status report describing the parties' progress in settling the case or narrowing the issues to be tried.
