MEMORANDUM

In an order dated May 12, 2004, I accepted plaintiff's amended complaint as the operative pleading in this action on the condition that he add a request for relief and sign and date it. Plaintiff has done that. For the purpose of docketing, the new amended complaint cured of these defects has been titled, "Second Amended Complaint." Copies of the second amended complaint have been forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Justice for acceptance of service of process for the newly added defendants and for a response by defendants Kingston and Vandenbrook. As I indicated in the May 12 order, defendants Kingston and Vandenbrook may delay submission of their response to the second amended complaint until such time as the newly added defendants file their responsive pleading.

BY THE COURT.
