MEMORANDUM OPINION

In a letter dated July 19, 2004, the Court informed appellant the time for filing a brief had passed. We instructed appellant to file her brief within ten days, accompanied by a proper motion to extend time to file brief. We cautioned appellant that the appeal would be dismissed if appellant failed to respond. Appellant did not comply. In a second letter dated August 11, 2004, we again informed appellant the time for filing a brief had passed and that the appeal would be dismissed if no brief and/or motion was filed by August 20, 2004. To date, appellant has failed to file a brief, a proper motion to extend time to file brief, or any other response. Accordingly, we DISMISS this appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(b).
