For the reasons discussed in the companion case in this consolidated matter, Barbee Wilson v. State Farm Mut. Auto. Ins. Co., et al., 01-0482 796 So.2d 869 (La.App. 3 Cir. 10/3/01), the judgment of the trial court is affirmed. All costs of this appeal are assessed against the defendants, Jerry Carney and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.

AFFIRMED.
