Before the Court is appellant's "Motion to Either Reopen Closed File, 05-24-00579-CR or Open New File for Trial Court Cause Number F21-18636."
On July 12, 2024, this Court ordered cause number 05-24-00729-CR closed because it concerned the same trial court case, F20-57627, appealed in the earlier-filed appeal, 05-24-00576-CR.
In this motion, appellant appears to assert that this Court erred by closing cause number 05-24-00579-CR, and he asks that we re-open that case. This Court has not closed cause number 05-24-00579-CR. That file contains the appeal from trial court cause number F21-18636, a conviction for felony driving while intoxicated. That appeal is pending.
Because this Court has not ordered cause number 05-24-00579-CR closed, we DENY appellant's motion.
