No. SC20-673 (Fla. Oct. 1, 2021)

Opinion

SC20-673

10-01-2021

DONALD OTIS WILLIAMS Petitioner(s) v. STATE OF FLORIDA Respondent(s)

Lower Tribunal No(s).: 352000CF002130AXXXXX; 352011CF000105AXXXXX

Williams's petition for writ of prohibition is denied because his allegations do not constitute legally sufficient grounds to support a motion for disqualification. See Asay v. State, 769 So.2d 974, 981 (Fla. 2000).

Further, because Petitioner has failed to show a clear legal right to the relief requested, he is not entitled to mandamus relief. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is hereby denied. See Huffman v. State, 813 So.2d 10, 11 (Fla. 2000).

No motion for rehearing will be entertained by the Court.

CANADY, CJ, and POLSTON, LABARGA, LAWSON, MUÑIZ, COURIEL, and GROSSHANS, JJ, concur

HON. HEIDI DAVIS, JUDGE.
