Jemadari Chinua WILLIAMS, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

From the 198th Judicial District Court, Kerr County, Texas
Trial Court No. B19-346
Honorable Rex Emerson, Judge Presiding

ORDER

We reinstate this appeal on the docket of the court and accept the trial court's recommendation, made after fully admonishing appellant, that appellant be allowed to proceed pro se on appeal. Appellant has filed motions for a supplemental clerk's record, for a "paper" copy of the reporter's record, including sealed volume 11, and for an extension of time to file his brief.

The requested supplemental clerk's record has been filed and a copy has been sent to appellant. We therefore deny the motion for a supplemental clerk's record as moot.

We grant appellant's motion for a paper copy of the reporter's record, including volume 11 (a private conference among the judge, defense counsel, and appellant). We order the court reporter to send appellant a copy of the record, including volume 11, by December 7, 2020, and to notify this court when it has been sent.

We grant appellant's motion for extension of time to file his brief. We order the brief due forty-five days after the court reporter mails the record to appellant.

/s/_________

Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 1st day of December, 2020.

/s/_________

MICHEL A. CRUZ, Clerk of Court
