DENNIS ANTHONY WILLIAMS, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 248th District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 1462169

ORDER

Appellant appeals his conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child. The reporter's record was filed October 31, 2016 and November 16, 2016. A correction letter was filed November 23, 2016, indicating a motion for new trial had been filed.

Our review has determined that a relevant item has been omitted from the reporter's record. The record does not contain a transcript of the motion for new trial hearing.

Gina Bench or Julia Johnson, court reporters for the 248th District Court, are directed to file a supplemental reporter's record on or before June 26, 2017, containing a transcript of the motion for new trial hearing. If the motion for new trial hearing was not transcribed, the court reporter is directed to file a certified statement stating the motion for new trial hearing was not transcribed.

Appellant's motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief is granted. Appellant's brief is due 30 days after the supplemental reporter's record is filed or, if none, 30 days from when the certified statement stating the motion for new trial hearing was not transcribed is filed.
