DAMOND WILLIAMS, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 291st Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F14-75914-U

ORDER

We REINSTATE this appeal.

On April 25, 2017, we abated the appeal for a hearing because court reporter Robin Washington had not filed the reporter's record despite our having granted two prior requests for extensions of time. The following day, Ms. Washington filed a request for an extension of time, citing her heavy work load. In the interest of expediting this appeal and because the trial court has not yet made findings, we GRANT the request and ORDER the reporter's record filed within TWENTY DAYS of the date of this order.

We VACATE that portion of our April 25 order requiring the trial court to make findings.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Stephanie Mitchell, Presiding Judge, 291st Judicial District Court; Robin Washington, court reporter; Sasha Brooks, official court reporter, 291st Judicial District Court; and to counsel for all parties.
