Williams v. Sec'y, Dep't of Corr.

Supreme Court of Florida
Nov 25, 2024
No. SC2024-0798 (Fla. Nov. 25, 2024)

Opinion

SC2024-0798

11-25-2024

Donald A. Williams, Petitioner(s) v. Secretary, Department of Corrections, Respondent(s)

Lower Tribunal No(s).: 131988CF0255150001XX; 131988CF0255180001XX

Petitioner has filed a "Motion to Correct Illegal Sentence," which this Court treats as a petition for writ of habeas corpus. The petition is dismissed because this Court generally will not consider the repetitive petitions of persons who have abused the judicial processes of the lower courts such that they have been barred from filing certain actions there. See Pettway v. State, 776 So.2d 930, 931 (Fla. 2000). No motion for rehearing or reinstatement will be considered by this Court.

CANADY, COURIEL, GROSSHANS, FRANCIS, and SASSO, JJ., concur.
