JAMES WILLIAMS, Petitioner, v. JOSEPH LOMBARDO, CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF, Respondent.

cc: James Williams Attorney General/Carson City

ORDER DENYING PETITION

This is an original postconviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus in which James Williams seeks to have this court reverse his justice court conviction for obstructing a sidewalk. Williams raises numerous challenges to his conviction. We have considered the petition on file herein, and we are not satisfied this court's intervention by way of extraordinary writ is warranted because petitioner has not demonstrated that the remedy of an appeal to the district court is inadequate. See State v. Eighth Judicial Dist. Court (Hedland), 116 Nev. 127, 134, 994 P.2d 692, 696-97 (2000) ("district courts have final appellate jurisdiction in cases arising in justice's court"). Accordingly, we

ORDER the petition DENIED.
