An appeal having been taken to this Court from an order of the Supreme Court, New York County, entered on or about February 23, 2021, which denied plaintiffs' motion for injunctive relief and dismissed the action,
And plaintiffs-appellants having moved, pursuant to CPLR 5118 and CPLR 6301, for a stay pending the hearing and determination of the appeal, a) enjoining and restraining defendants-respondents, their agents, attorneys and assigns from requiring in-person petitioning in order to be placed on the ballot for any position to be voted on in the primaries scheduled for June 22, 2021, and b) further directing defendants-respondents to devise an alternative, constitutionally sound method for certifying candidacies of candidates seeking office in the June 22, 2021 New York primary,
Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,
