On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 3 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause Nos. F10-01183 & F10-01184
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before Justices Bridges, Lang-Miers, and Evans
Opinion by Justice Lang-Miers
On April 26, 2017, appellant filed notices of appeal from his "Nunc Pro Tunc and Order," "Judicial Review of Fraudulent Documentations," and motion for "Chapter 64 DNA testing." Appellant claims the trial court abused "its discretion by continuing to ignore the Defendant." We conclude we lack jurisdiction over these appeals.
Only after a conviction or the entry of an appealable order can the appellate court consider appeals filed by a criminal defendant. See Wright v. State, 969 S.W.2d 588, 589 (Tex. App.—Dallas 1998, no pet.). Without a written order, this Court is without jurisdiction. See Nikrasch v. State 698 S.W.2d 443, 450 (Tex. App.—Dallas 1985, no pet.). To date, appellant's motions have not been ruled on by the trial court.
Therefore, we dismiss these appeals for want of jurisdiction.
