SAKINAH WHITE AND AKEEM WHITE, Appellants v. WILLIAM E. TRANTHAM, Appellee

On Appeal from County Court at Law No. 2 Denton County, Texas
Trial Court No. CV-2020-00885-JP Before Gabriel, Kerr, and Birdwell, JJ.
Memorandum Opinion

MEMORANDUM OPINION AND JUDGMENT

Appellants Sakinah and Akeem White appeal from the trial court's judgment of eviction and resulting writ of possession. See Tex. R. Civ. P. 510.10, 510.13. On September 29, 2020, we notified the Whites that their brief had not been filed as the appellate rules require and warned that we could dismiss their appeal if they did not reasonably explain the failure. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3, 44.3. The Whites did not respond.

Because the Whites have failed to file a brief even after we afforded them an opportunity to reasonably explain the initial failure, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 43.2(f).
