The petition is hereby dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. See art. V, § 3(b), Fla. Const.; Abelman v. Booth, 62 U.S. 506, 515-16 (1858) ("[N]o State can authorize one of its judges or courts to exercise judicial power, by habeas corpus or otherwise, within the jurisdiction of another and independent Government."); see also Special Prosecutor of State of N.Y. v. U.S. Attorney for S. Dist. of New York, 375 F.Supp. 797, 806 (S.D.N.Y. 1974) (rejecting plaintiffs argument that a state court has jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1361 to compel an officer or employee of the United States or any agency thereof to perform a duty owed to the plaintiff). No motion for rehearing will be entertained by this Court.
