Opinion
No. 04-19-00332-CV
05-18-2020
Lee B. WHEELER, Trustee of the L&P Children's Trust, and Nancy Wheeler Plumlee, Appellants v. SAN MIGUEL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC., Appellee
From the 36th Judicial District Court, McMullen County, Texas
Trial Court No. M-17-0027-CV-A
Honorable Starr Boldrick Bauer, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Because of the safety measures implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, oral argument on May 19, 2020, will be held by Zoom videoconference. The court's instructions permit only lead counsel to directly participate in the call, but all may watch the proceedings on the Fourth Court of Appeals' YouTube channel.
On May 15, 2020, Appellants filed an unopposed motion for Appellants' co-counsel to directly participate in the Zoom call, rather than watching via the YouTube channel, because of the delay between the live argument and the retransmission on YouTube.
Appellants' motion is DENIED without prejudice to Appellants using other means, (e.g., co-counsel and parties in the same room, readily available technology, etc.) to see and hear the arguments in real time.
It is so ORDERED on this 18th day of May, 2020.
