Stacey Webb Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo, Chief Special Trial Judge

This case was recalled from the calendar for trial on September 15, 2021, during the Los Angeles, California, remote trial session of the Court that began on September 13, 2021. The trial began but it was only partially completed because petitioner had not provided certain documents to respondent's counsel that petitioner was relying upon in support of his position. In order to give petitioner the opportunity to do so, the Court suspended further proceedings before either party rested.

Premises considered, and for cause set forth more fully in the transcript of the above-referenced proceedings, it is

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by the undersigned. It is further

ORDERED that on or before October 8, 2021, petitioner shall provide copies of his amended returns for tax years 2015 and 2017 to respondent's counsel. It is further

ORDERED that on or before October 22, 2021, respondent shall report in writing as to the status of the case.

The parties should expect the case to be set for further trial before the end of the year.
