In Re: Sidney O. Ross, Jr., M.D. and Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Company, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 601951. BEFORE: McCLENDON, HIGGINBOTHAM AND HOLDRIDGE, JJ.
WRIT DENIED. We find that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in granting the plaintiff's motion in limine that prohibits the defendants and their counsel, during jury selection and at the trial on the merits, from discussing, arguing, asking witnesses to comment on and/or introducing evidence of plaintiff's informed consent or that she was advised that bile duct injury was a risk of the surgery performed.
