Opinion
No. 04-20-00004-CV
06-26-2020
From the 408th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2019CI13921
The Honorable Peter Sakai, Judge Presiding
ORDER
On March 4, 2020, we granted appellees' partially opposed motion to abate this appeal pending final disposition of City of Austin, Texas, et al. v. Texas Association of Business, et al., case no. 19-0025 in the Supreme Court of Texas. On June 5, 2020, the Supreme Court of Texas denied the petition for review in that case.
On June 12, 2020, intervenor-appellants Marilyn Washington and Texas Organizing Project Education Fund filed an opposed motion to lift the abatement and an unopposed motion for leave to file an amended brief. After considering the motions and intervenor-appellee the State of Texas's response in opposition, the motions are GRANTED.
It is therefore ORDERED that this appeal is REINSTATED on the docket of this court. It is FURTHER ORDERED that appellants' briefs, including any amended appellants' briefs, are due no later than twenty (20) days from the date of this order.

Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice
