MARK L. WARREN & NORMA K. REIN WARREN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler, Judge.

This case is calendared for trial on the Court's November 28, 2022, Atlanta, Georgia trial session. On August 10, 2022, the parties filed a Joint Motion for Continuance of Trial and are requesting that this case be restored to the general docket. The motion states that the Appeals Officer assigned to this case retired prior to the resolution of the instant case and resulted in the case being reassigned to a new Appeals Officer. In addition, petitioners have a related non-docketed case involving substantially similar issues as the issues involved in the instant matter that remains pending in Appeals and is still awaiting review by Appeals. The Parties are continuing to work together to find a mutually agreeable basis for resolution of this case without the need to proceed to trial.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that the parties' Joint Motion for Continuance of Trial is granted and this case is stricken from the November 28, 2022, Atlanta, Georgia trial session and is continued generally.
