DECISION AND ORDER ON MOTION

Motion for stay of proceedings in Family Court and to close courtroom pending appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion for a stay of proceedings in Family Court is referred to Justice Egan, who makes the following decision: Motion denied, without costs. It is further

ORDERED that the motion to close the courtroom is granted, without costs, and the public and press shall be excluded from the courtroom, based upon the nature of the proceedings, the privacy interests of the subject child and the need to protect said child from harm, as well as the consent of the parties named in the proceedings.
