Motion by appellant for leave to prosecute an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Nassau County, Third District, entered February 23, 2022, as a poor person.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that, on the court's own motion, the appeal is dismissed as untimely (see UDCA 1703 [b]; Coogan v Starr, 30 Misc.3d 143, 2011 NY Slip Op 50326[U] [App Term, 9th & 10th Jud Dists 2011]); and it is further, ORDERED that appellant's motion is denied as moot.
