Opinion issued February 4, 2004.

On Appeal from the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas Dallas Division, Trial Court Cause No. 3:01-CV-2662-R.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant has filed a notice of appeal concerning a U.S. District Court's final judgment entered on November 25, 2003. By letter dated January 9, 2004, this Court informed appellant that it has no jurisdiction to review the judgment of a federal district court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.220 (Vernon 1988). He was instructed that, if he is attempting to appeal a state court decision, he should file an amended notice of appeal and a docketing statement stating the state court judgment on appeal. Appellant was informed that failure to do so, within ten days, would result in the dismissal of this appeal for want of jurisdiction without further notice.

Appellant has failed to respond. Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, this appeal is DISMISSED for want of jurisdiction. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(a).
