On Appeal from the 338th District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 1520109

ABATEMENT ORDER

This appeal was abated on March 17, 2020, and remanded to the trial court to conduct a hearing on appellant's motion for new trial. Before that hearing took place, the appeal was reinstated and resubmitted to the current panel on January 11, 2021. Currently, the hearing on the motion for new trial is set for August 12, 2021.

Accordingly, the appeal is abated, treated as a closed case, and removed from this court's active docket. The appeal will be reinstated on this court's active docket when the supplemental reporter's and clerk's records from the hearing on appellant's motion for new trial are filed. The court also will consider an appropriate motion to reinstate the appeal filed by either party, or the court may reinstate the appeal on its own motion. It is the responsibility of any party seeking reinstatement to request a hearing date from the trial court and to schedule a hearing in compliance with this court's order. If the parties do not request a hearing, the court coordinator of the trial court shall set a hearing date and notify the parties of the date and time of the hearing.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Wise, Hassan, and Wilson. Do Not Publish — Tex. R. App. P. 47.2(b).
