Before the Court is appellant's July 19, 2024 motion for an extension of time to file a reply brief. We GRANT the motion and extend the time to August 21, 2024. This appeal has been pending since February 2023. Additionally, appellant received several extensions for his opening brief that was filed on April 1, 2024. Given these circumstances, we caution appellant that any further extension requests for his reply brief will be disfavored.
In his motion, appellant also requests that, going forward, all communications with him be mailed to his post office box and that he is no longer accepting any communications by email, e-filing, or any other electronic filing format. Accordingly, we DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to omit the email address on file for appellant. All correspondence for appellant shall be sent to the following address: P.O. Box 224943, Dallas, Texas 7522-4943. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.5(b)(2) (providing for service of documents by mail).
We further DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre; Court Reporter Terri Etekachay; Court Reporter Kelly Simmons; Court Reporter Norma Rico; and all parties.
