Before the Court is appellants' December 12, 2023 agreed motion to consolidate and extend briefing deadlines. We GRANT the motion as follows. We CONSOLIDATE appellate cause number 05-23-01265-CV into appellate cause number 05-23-01068-CV. We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to remove all documents from cause number 05-23-01265-CV and refile them in cause number 05-23-01068-CV and to treat cause number 05-23-01265-CV as a closed case. We ORDER that all future filings bear only cause number 05-23-01068-CV.
Because the reporter's record is not yet due, we DENY appellants' motion to extend the briefing deadlines as premature. The reporter's record is due January 19, 2024. Appellants' brief will be due thirty days after the reporter's record is filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a)(2).
We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to Official Court Reporter Vielica Dobbins and all parties.
