Bert VILLA, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 186th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2009CR12591
Honorable Jefferson Moore, Judge Presiding

ORDER

On April 16, 2010, the trial court sentenced Villa to three years' imprisonment. The trial court then suspended the sentence and placed Villa on community supervision for three years. On March 14, 2012, the trial court signed an order amending the conditions of Villa's community supervision. On March 22, 2018, Villa filed a notice of appeal. It appears that because Villa did not file a timely notice of appeal, we lack jurisdiction over this appeal.

We, therefore, ORDER appellant to show cause on or before May 3, 2018 why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. All appellate deadlines are suspended until further order of the court.

Karen Angelini, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 19th day of April, 2018.
