Elvis VARELA, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 144th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2020CR7349 Honorable Michael E. Mery, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice

The State's brief was originally due to be filed with this court on December 6, 2023, but the State filed a letter to the court reporter requesting a supplemental record on November 27, 2023, and then, on December 6, 2023, a motion for extension of time to file its brief because the requested supplement was not yet available. This court granted the State's motion for extension of time to file its brief until January 5, 2024.

On January 5, 2024, the State filed a subsequent motion for extension of time because the requested supplement was still not available.

We now order Court Reporter Amy Hinds to file the State's requested items from its November 27, 2023 letter WITHIN THIRTY DAYS of this order.

The State's brief will be due THIRTY DAYS after the supplemental reporter's record is filed.
