ORDER
Joseph W. Nega, Judge.
These consolidated cases are calendared for a remote trial at the session of the Court scheduled to commence on Monday, March 21, 2022, for cases in which Spokane, Washington, is the place of trial.
On February 23, 2022, counsel for petitioner filed a Motion to Withdraw as Counsel. On March 7, 2022, petitioner filed a First Supplement to Motion to Withdraw as Counsel in each of these consolidated cases.
On February 25, 2022, petitioner filed a Motion for Continuance. On March 7, 2022, petitioner filed a First Supplement to Motion for Continuance. On the same day, respondent filed a Response to Motion for Continuance.
On March 11, 2022, the Court held a conference call with the parties and discussed among other things, petitioner's pending Motion to Withdraw as Counsel filed February 23, 2022, and as supplemented on March 7, 2022, as well as the calendaring of these consolidated cases for a special trial session.
Accordingly, it is
ORDERED that petitioner's Motion for Continuance filed February 25, 2022, and as supplemented March 7, 2022, is granted, and these cases are stricken for trial from the March 21, 2022, Spokane, Washington, remote session of the Court and are continued. It is further
ORDERED that counsel for petitioner's Motion to Withdraw as Counsel filed February 23, 2022, and as supplemented on March 11, 2022, is granted and Nathaniel K. MacPherson is no longer counsel of record for petitioner in these cases. It is further
ORDERED that these cases are scheduled for a one-week special session of the Court to be conducted remotely, commencing Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time), and that Spokane, Washington, shall be listed as the place of trial for this remote special session. The Court expects to conclude the trial in these cases by the afternoon of August 5, 2022. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall issue a notice of remote proceeding to the parties that shall contain comprehensive instructions on how to participate in the above-referenced proceeding. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before April 15, 2022, the parties are directed to file a joint status report therein proposing a pretrial schedule for consideration. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction is retained by this Division of the Court.
