ADRIAN VALADEZ, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

From the 19th District Court McLennan County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2012-2160-C1

ORDER

We received the clerk's record in this appeal and confirmed that Jonathan Sibley, appellant's appointed trial counsel who appeared as lead counsel in this appeal, and Jessica Freud, a subsequently appointed attorney for appellant, have both been replaced as appellate counsel for appellant by orders of the trial court. By reference to the clerk's record, we also confirmed that the trial court granted appellant's motion to substitute counsel, thus permitting appellant's retained attorney, Richard E. Wetzel, to substitute as counsel for appellant.

Accordingly, the Clerk of the Court is ordered to recognize Richard E. Wetzel as the only counsel for appellant in this appeal and make the appropriate entry on the docket in this case.

PER CURIAM Before Chief Justice Gray, Justice Davis, and Justice Scoggins
Order issued and filed July 12, 2017
