Opinion

Case No. CR 01-01155 DDP

October 21, 2002

ORDER DENYING DEFENDANTS' REQUEST FOR JUROR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION

The Court has received a phone call from defendant Miller and an email from defendant Tere Dane requesting the production of the names, addresses and other contact information of the jury members in this case. The Court did give the jury members permission to speak with any of the parties or lawyers in the case at his or her discretion. This in no way creates a right for the defendants in a criminal trial to have the personal contact information for the members of the jury that decided their case. The defendants' request is therefore denied.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
