ORDER
Before the Court is the Government's Motion To Lift Stay And Set Trial Date, to which the defendant has responded. The Government's arguments for lifting the Stay immediately are clearly meritorious. Accordingly, the Government's Motion is GRANTED with regard to lifting the Stay; and it is hereby
ORDERED that the Stay entered on November 5, 2003, be and is VACATED, and the parties are directed to move forward with discovery.
In his response to the Government's Motion, the defendant indicates that the parties have conferred and agreed upon a different trial schedule than the one initially proposed by the Government in its Motion. Because the Court has concerns with certain aspects of the proposed schedule, the trial date will be set by a separate order in the near future.
The Clerk is directed to forward copies of this Order to counsel of record and the Court Security Officer.
