ORDER

Defendant Eric R. Meyer has moved for a reduction of his sentence pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3582. He relies on the amendments to the crack cocaine guidelines for his motion. However, as the amendments make clear, they apply only to persons whose crimes involved crack cocaine or cocaine base. Because defendant's crime involved the powder form of cocaine, he is not eligible for a § 3582 reduction.

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that defendant Eric R. Meyer's motion for a reduction of sentence pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3582 is DENIED.
