ORDER FOR EXAMINATION PURSUANT TO 18 U.S.C. § 4242 AND FED.R.CRIM.P. 12(c)(1)(B)


Based on motion of the United States, and good cause appearing,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 4242, and Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure 12.2(c)(1)(B), that the defendant shall undergo a psychiatric examination to determine whether she was suffering from a mental disease or defect that caused her to meet the criteria for defense of insanity.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 4247, that the defendant is ordered into the custody of the United States Attorney General for a period not to exceed forty-five days for an evaluation to be done at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners at Carswell, Texas, where Dr. Trent Evans has previously examined this defendant in this case to determine whether she was competent to stand trial, and the U.S. Marshal's Service is ordered transport the defendant to the facility as soon as suitable arrangements can be made.
