JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT
The defendant in this cause, JACQUELYNE T. LEWIS, having been on the 7th day of September, 2000, defaulted for failure to appear, and the plaintiff's claim against the said defendant being for a sum certain or for a stun which by computation be made certain, and it appearing that the defendant is not a minor or incompetent nor in the military service of the United States, and that the plaintiff is entitled to recover from the said defendant,
Now, on request of the Plaintiff, United States of America by its attorney of record, and upon Unsworn Declaration Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1746 of Amount Due (Doc. 6), and pursuant to Rule 55(b) (1) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment by default is hereby entered in favor of the Plaintiff, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, against the Defendant, JACQUELYNE T. LEWIS, in the sum of FIVE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED NINE and 71/100 DOLLARS ($5,909.71) (principal of $4,005.93, prejudgment interest at 10% per annum in the amount of $1,903.73 as of April 11, 2000, and administrative costs in the amount of $.05) plus prejudgment interest at 10% per annum from April 11, 2000, through the date of judgment, and post judgment interest at the legal rate of 6.241 percent pursuant to the provisions of Title 28, U.S.C. § 1961, until paid in full, and court costs, for all of which execution may issue.
