PRELIMINARY PRETRIAL CONFERENCE ORDER

On June 8, 2004, this court held the preliminary pretrial conference. Defendant Mark Heath was not personally present but was represented by his attorney, Patrick Stangl. The government was represented by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen Sinnott.

Prior to the hearing, Heath filed a series of discovery motions. After taking a discovery proffer from the government and discussing the motions with both sides, I denied the motions docketed as 21, 23 and 25-27. No action was necessary on the discovery requests docketed as 17-20. No motions remained for briefing and the parties had no other matters to bring to the court's attention. I will wait to provide draft voir dire questions and jury instructions to the parties until closer to the submission deadline for the final pretrial conference.
