JUDGMENT

It is hereby ORDERED that JUDGMENT be entered in favor of the Plaintiff and against the Defendant in the amount of $4225.36.

ORDER

This matter is before the Court on plaintiff's motion for summary judgment (Doc. 11). On April 2, 2001, this Court entered an order (Doc. 14), which stated the following:

On February 6, 2001, this Court entered an order (Doc. 9) conditionally granting Defendant's counsel's motion to withdraw (Doc. 8). The order required Defendant's counsel to perform certain tasks before its withdrawal would be considered complete. Counsel fulfilled its obligations on February 20, 2001.
The order of February 6, 2001, also required the Defendant to notify this Court "in writing on or before March 6, 2001: (1) of the address and telephone number where he may be reached by the court and opposing counsel when necessary; and (2) whether he has either retained, or is presently in the process of retaining substitute counsel or intends to proceed in this action pro se, FAILING IN WHICH, DEFAULT JUDGEMENT MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST THE DEFENDANT."
To date the Defendant has failed to contact the Court in any respect. Therefore it is the Defendant is ORDERED to show cause to this Court in writing, no later than April 16, 2001, why this Court ought not enter a default judgment against her for failure to defend this action, and/or failure to respond to an order of this Court.
Additionally, the Plaintiff has filed a motion for summary judgment (Doc. 11) and thin Court has ordered Defendant to respond to that motion (Doc. 13). Failure of the Defendant to respond to the motion for summary judgment on or before May 1, 2001, will result in this Court entering a judgment as a matter of law against the Defendant.

As of this date, the Defendant still has not responded to the Court's prior orders or the Plaintiff's motion for summary judgment.

After a full and proper review of the record, and because Plaintiff's motion for summary judgment is uncontested, the Court finds that motion is due to be and is hereby GRANTED.
