ORDER REGARDING REPRESENTATION OF DEFENDANT DETORE


On 21 May 2002, the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer Feld ("Akin Gump") filed a motion to withdraw as counsel for Defendant Detore. (Docket # 399). The firm also moved to file its memorandum in support of its motion to withdraw under seal for in camera review. (Docket # 400).

Akin Gump's motion to file its supporting memorandum under seal is granted. Having reviewed the memorandum in camera, this Court finds that Akin Gump's reasons for withdrawing as counsel for Mr. Detore are justified. Therefore, Akin Gump's motion to withdraw its appearance as counsel for Mr. Detore is granted.

Mr. Detore shall obtain new counsel, who shall file a notice of appearance on or before 11 June 2002, or, in the alternative, Mr. Detore shall notify the Court in writing on or before 11 June 2002 of his intention to proceed pro se.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
