ORDER

The Court is in receipt of a "cc:" of a letter from the defendant to his attorney, which also appears to have been copied to the Assistant United States Attorney.

The defendant is directed not to send copies of his correspondence with others to the Court. In addition, defendant should be aware that the attorney-client privilege protects the confidentiality of his communications with his attorney, but that the privilege ordinarily is waived if the communication is disclosed to anyone other than the attorney. Defendant would be well advised to consult with his attorney concerning the advisability of sending copies of his letters to his attorney to anyone but his attorney.

SO ORDERED.
