MEDIA GUIDELINES


The Court sets forth the following guidelines to be observed by all members of the media:

• Under no circumstances shall any member of the media contact jurors during the course of the trial;
• Under no circumstances shall any member of the media photograph, film or otherwise record members of the jury.
• Possession of all cameras, recording and transmitting equipment is prohibited in the courtroom, including but not limited to television cameras.
• The media may view trial exhibits that have been entered into evidence during the noon recess or the half an hour following the close of trial each day, under the supervision of the Clerk of the Court and in the presence of counsel, if they so desire, unless the Court directs otherwise.
• In the event that it becomes necessary to provide reserve seating for the media, members of the media with proper credentials will be allowed to sit in such reserved media seating in the courtroom, on a first come basis. Absent reserved seating, the media may sit in the public gallery.
• All cellular phones, pagers and similar communication devices are prohibited from the courtroom.

The Clerk is directed to transmit certified copies of this Order to counsel of record, the defendants, and make this Order available to members of the media and the public.
