GRANTING MOTION FOR DEFAULT JUDGMENT AND FINAL ORDER OF FORFEITURE
Upon consideration of plaintiff's unopposed Motion for Default Judgment, the supporting Declaration of Steven J. Saltiel in Support of Request for Entry of Default, dated March 5, 2003, and all other pleadings filed herein, and for good cause shown, the Court hereby GRANTS plaintiff's motion for default judgment. In so doing, the Court makes the following findings:
1. Plaintiff provided notice of the forfeiture action to all potential claimants of the defendant property in compliance with Admiralty Local Rule 6-1;
2. The time for the filing of an answer or claim has expired; and,
3. No answers or claims were filed for the defendant property.
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a judgment of default be entered against the captioned defendant property.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the defendant property shall be and hereby is condemned and forfeited to the United States, pursuant to 47 U.S.C. § 510(a). All right, title and interest in said property is vested in the United States of America.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the United States Marshals Service, and their designated custodians, shall dispose of the forfeited defendant property according to law.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
