ORDER


This cause came on for consideration without oral argument upon:

1. Defendant Sameeh Hammoudeh's Appeals of Magistrate's Order (Dkts. #84, 94);

2. Defendant Hammoudeh's Motion to Extend Time to File Memorandum Regarding Amended Notice of Appeal (Dkt. #142);

3. The United States of America's Motion for Pretrial Conference and a Protective Order pursuant to Classified Information Procedures Act (Dkt. #168);

4. Defendant Sami Al-Arian's Motion to Delay Ruling until Defendant Responds to Government's Motion of August 12, 2003 (Dkt. #222);

5. Defendant Al-Arian's Motion for Oral Argument on Motion to Compel Government to Facilitate Legal Defense Functions (Dkt. #233);

6. Defendant Al-Arian's Motion for Leave to File in Excess of Page Limit (Dkt. #234);

7. Defendant Al-Arian's and Hammoudeh's ore tenus Motions to be Transported to Attend September 12, 2003, hearing;

These motions were either: (a) withdrawn by the party that filed them; (b) amended by subsequent filing of the party that filed them; or (c) collateral motions now moot because of the passage of time or other rulings of this Court. This Order is meant solely to clean up this Court's docket and does not prejudice the rights of any party.

It is, therefore, ORDERED and ADJUDGED that:

1. Defendant Sameeh Hammoudeh's Appeals of Magistrate's Order (Dkts. #84, 94) are DENIED. Defendant Hammoudeh subsequently amended his motion for reconsideration of the Magistrate's detention order with several memoranda.

2. Defendant Hammoudeh's Motion to Extend Time to File Memorandum Regarding Amended Notice of Appeal (Dkt. #142) is DENIED as moot.

3. The United States of America's Motion for Pretrial Conference and a Protective Order pursuant to Classified Information Procedures Act (Dkt. #168) was WITHDRAWN by the government at the September 12, 2003, hearing in this matter.

4. Defendant Sami Al-Arian's Motion to Delay Ruling until Defendant Responds to Government's Motion of August 12, 2003 (Dkt. #222) is DENIED as moot.

5. Defendant Al-Arian's Motion for Oral Argument on Motion to Compel Government to Facilitate Legal Defense Functions (Dkt. #233) is DENIED as moot.

6. Defendant Al-Arian's Motion for Leave to File in Excess of Page Limit (Dkt. #234) is DENIED as moot.

7. Defendant Al-Arian's and Hammoudeh's ore tenus Motions to be Transported to Attend September 12, 2003, hearing are DENIED as moot.

DONE and ORDERED.
