Tunc Uraz v. Dr Todd Cioffi

LC No. 20-034637-CZ

ORDER

Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The motion to waive or pay partial filing fee is recognized as a motion for reconsideration of this Court's November 1, 2021 fee-related order. The motion is DENIED because this Court does not have authority to reduce the 50-percent deduction amount required by MCL 600.2963(5) to the 20-percent amount requested by plaintiff.

Under the circumstances it is unclear if appellant would wish to proceed with this appeal in light of the denial of the present motion. If appellant wishes to proceed with this appeal he shall submit a signed statement to that effect to this Court within 21 days after the date of the present order and he will be liable for eventual payment of the $375 entry fee in accordance with the November 1, 2021 order. If such a signed statement is not received from appellant this appeal will not be filed in this Court and appellant will not be responsible for any filing fee for this matter.
