Opinion
00 Civ. 0277 (LAK)
July 27, 2000
ORDER
At the conclusion of the trial, defendants rested subject to rulings on the admissibility of exhibits. They presented the Court with a large number of proposed exhibits. On a most cursory review, it appeared to the Court that many of the proposed exhibits were inadmissible, but the Court asked that counsel get together, narrow down the number of exhibits in light of the Court's rulings during the trial, and attempt to resolve all remaining issues of admissibility. At this point, however, the Court has yet to receive the proposed exhibits that defendants still propose to offer, let alone information as to which of them are objected to and which not.
Accordingly, defendants are to submit to the Court, at or before 11:30 a.m. on July 31, 2000, all additional exhibits that they proposed to offer together with a list identifying each exhibit and indicating as to each whether plaintiffs object to it and, if so, on what grounds. Counsel on both sides are directed to meet promptly to cooperate in preparing the necessary material. No exhibits that are not so provided and identified by that time will be considered.
In the event that all disputes regarding defendants' proposed exhibits are not resolved by agreement of the parties prior to that time, the Court will hear argument on the remaining objections at 2:15 p.m. on July 31, 2000.
SO ORDERED.
