SHIRAJ UDDIN, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

On April 8, 2024, the Court issued an Order to Show Cause directing the parties to show cause in writing why this case should not be closed on the grounds that it is a duplicate of petitioner's case at Docket No. 9170-23 inasmuch as, in both cases, petitioner seeks review of a notice of deficiency issued for petitioner's 2019 tax year.

On April 23, 2024, respondent filed a Motion to Close on Ground of Duplication and To Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction. The Court has received no response from petitioner.

In view of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that the Court's above-referenced Order to Show Cause is made absolute. It is further

ORDERED that respondent's above-described motion is granted in that this case is closed on the ground of duplication. All future communications concerning petitioner's 2019 tax year should be directed to Docket No. 9170-23.
