ORDER

Before the Court is the Dallas County Public Defender's August 14, 2017 motion to withdraw as appointed counsel. In the motion, counsel notes a potential conflict of interest in representing appellant. We GRANT the motion and ORDER Julie Woods of the Dallas County Public Defender's office removed as appellant's appointed counsel in this case.

We ORDER the trial court to appoint new counsel to represent appellant in this appeal and to transmit the order appointing new counsel to this Court within FIFTEEN DAYS of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order, by electronic transmission, to the Honorable Ernest White, Presiding Judge, 194th Judicial District Court; Julie Woods; and the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.

We ABATE this appeal to allow the trial court to comply with this order. The appeal shall be reinstated fifteen days from the date of this order or when the order appointing new counsel is received.
