MARIO TRUJILLO & BERTHA RICO, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent
ORDER
Kathleen Kerrigan, Chief Judge.
By Order served August 2, 2023, the Court directed the parties, on or before November 3, 2023, to file a joint report or separate reports concerning the then-current status of this case. On November 1, 2023, petitioners Mario Trujillo and Bertha Rico filed a Motion for Extension of Time with respect to the filing of the status reports. The Court granted that motion and extended the time for the parties to file their status reports to January 3, 2024. On December 22, 2023, petitioners filed another Motion for Extension of Time, requesting a further 60-day extension of the due date for the filing of status reports.
Upon due consideration of the foregoing, it is
ORDERED that petitioners' Motion for Extension of Time, filed December 22, 2023, is granted in that the due date for the parties to file their status reports (preferably a joint report) is extended to February 5, 2024. The Court will not be inclined to grant further extensions for the parties' status reports. Petitioners are advised that they may work together with the Commissioner (respondent) to file a joint status report concerning this case.
