Jose Mario TREVINO, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 49th Judicial District Court, Webb County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015CRS001588D1
Honorable Elma T. Salinas Ender, Judge Presiding

ORDER

The reporter's record in this case was originally due May 1, 2017. We granted extensions of time to file the reporter's record and extended the due date to July 30, 2017. On August 4, 2017, the court reporter filed a notice of late record and requested an additional 30 days to file the reporter's record. We grant the request and order the court reporter, Cynthia M. Perez Lenz, to file the reporter's record by September 7, 2017. No further extensions of time will be granted absent a timely request that (1) demonstrates extraordinary circumstances justifying further delay, (2) advises the court of the efforts expended in preparing the record, and (3) provides the court reasonable assurance that the record will be completed and filed by the requested extended deadline. The court does not generally consider a heavy work schedule to be an extraordinary circumstance.

Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 8th day of August, 2017.
