Appellant's brief is overdue. Appellant's brief was originally due April 17, 2024. On April 15, 2024, appellant's counsel, Kristin Brown, filed the first motion for extension of time to file the brief, which this Court granted, stating appellant's brief was due on or before May 17, 2024. On May 20, 2024, this Court notified Ms. Brown that appellant's brief was overdue and directed her to file appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief within ten days. On June 24, 2024, Ms. Brown filed appellant's second motion for extension of time to file the brief, which this Court granted, ordering Ms. Brown to file appellant's brief on or before July 24, 2024. As of the date of this order, appellant's brief has not been filed.

We ORDER Ms. Brown to file appellant's brief on or before SEPTEMBER 3, 2024. If appellant's brief is not filed by that date, this appeal may be abated for the trial court to make findings in accordance with Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.8. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b)(2).
