WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER. The trial court's October 3, 2018 order denying pauper status to plaintiff, Norman Paul Trahan, Sr., is vacated. The trial court abused its discretion in denying pauper status to plaintiff for reasons unrelated to his poverty or lack of means. The trial court is ordered to consider and rule upon Norman Paul Trahan, Sr.'s motion to proceed in forma pauperis based upon the information relevant to his poverty and lack of means.
